A kinetic sphere of growth and tension, Spherophyte evokes both plant and machine. Its segmented pods suggest armored seeds, enclosed in a biomechanical corset of sculpted arcs and riveted roots.

Both playful and monumental, the dress imagines evolution as an act of design — engineered, seeded, and waiting to sprout.

  • The design expresses tension between organic volume and rigid structure: a spherical, segmented core is encased in a system of riveted arcs, straps, and structural ribs, forming a wearable architecture rather than a conventional garment.
  • Spherophyte is conceived as a kinetic object — a dress that appears grown, assembled, and engineered at the same time.
